Han Yusheng, male, born in March 1986, native of Wudi, Shandong Province. Associate Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Philosophy, Nanjing University. He was selected for the Young Talents of the National Special Support Program for High-Level Talents (2022), recognized as a Jiangsu “Zijin Culture” Outstanding Young Scholar in Social Sciences (2020), included in the Jiangsu “Qinglan Project” as an Outstanding Young Key Faculty Member (2022), and awarded the Jiangsu “Double Innovation Doctor” title (2020). He also serves as a Researcher at the Nanjing University Center for Eastern Moral Studies, Vice Chair of the Youth Working Committee of the China Association For Ethical Studies, a Board Member of the China Association For Ethical Studies, and an Executive Director of the Jiangsu Ethics Society. His research focuses on Confucian Ethics. He has published over 40 academic papers in core journals, including Philosophical Research, Guangming Daily and Dao: A Journal of Comparative Philosophy, several of which have been fully reprinted in China Social Sciences Digest, Abstracts of Humanities and Social Sciences of Universities, and Renmin University Reproduced Materials. He has independently led more than ten projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation and has published two monographs and one translated work. His research achievements have been recognized with multiple awards, including the 9th Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Award (Youth Award), the Third Prize of the Jiangsu Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, and the Excellent Paper Award of the China Association For Ethical Studies. He teaches courses such as Traditional Chinese Ethics and Contemporary Moral Development, Selected Readings of Classical Chinese Ethical Texts, and Special Topics on Confucian Ethics. He also leads the MOOC online course Confucian Ethics. He is a key member of the expert team for the national Marxist Project key textbook Ethics (Second Edition) and for the Ministry of Education key textbook History of Chinese Ethical Thought (Third Edition), and serves as associate editor for the university general education textbook Introduction to Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture. He has participated in projects awarded the Second Prize of the National Higher Education (Undergraduate) Teaching Achievement Award, the Second Prize of the Second National Textbook Construction Award, and the First Prize of the Jiangsu Teaching Achievement Award. Individually, he has received the First Prize in the Jiangsu Micro-Course Teaching Competition and the May Fourth Youth Medal of Nanjing University, among other honors.
